The second of two Group Ones on day four of Royal Ascot is the Coronation Stakes. The colt's equivalent of this one mile event, the St James's Palace Stakes was incredibly open, and this race for three-year-old fillies promises to be equally as competitive.

We've taken a look through the confirmed runners and picked out our best betting tips.

All eyes were on Santa Barbara heading into the 1000 Guineas, but it was her stablemate, Mother Earth who powered home under Frankie Dettori to win that fabled Classic. Aidan O'Brien's filly couldn't quite repeat those heroics in the French 1000 Guineas, finishing second behind a shock winner, but it was still a cracking effort and she deservedly tops the market.

In Mother Earth's absence, Empress Josephine was on-hand to gift Aidan O'Brien the Irish 1000 Guineas. Seamie Heffernan's mount was a 14/1 shot that day, having failed to impress earlier in her career, and she'll be out to prove that Classic success was no fluke on Friday.

Pretty Gorgeous was the beaten favourite in the Irish 1000 Guineas, where she was clearly in need of the run. Joseph O'Brien's imposing filly remains open to plenty of improvement, but I'm not sure whether she'll be seen to best effect on quick ground.

Alcohol Free ran on well to place fifth in the 1000 Guineas, a good effort on the back of her Nell Gwyn success. Snow Lantern was the beaten favourite in the Michael Seely, but Richard Hannon's filly pulled hard for the majority of that race and didn't give her true running in the end.

Potapova is unbeaten in two career starts, and this daughter of Invincible Spirit looks an excellent prospect. Yet, for someone who bases their selection on form, the fact that she's only faced horses rated in the mid-70s so far pushes her out of my reckoning.

Fev Rover kept on well to finish on the podium in the 1000 Guineas, and ran a little better than the result suggests when tenth in the Irish Guineas. Shale was pulled from the Irish Guineas when it became clear the ground would be very heavy, and she has to be respected based on her juvenile form.

Tom Marquand will ride Lullaby Moon, who finished eleventh of 13 on her reappearance at Longchamp. The field is completed by three Irish raiders, My Generation, Oodnadatta and Friendly, who've won twice between them in 16 starts.

Primo Bacio was our selection, but as soon as the ground turned soft this morning, she was withdrawn from the race. Irish 1000 Guineas winner, Empress Josephine has been well-backed, having won that Classic on heavy ground. However, PRETTY GORGEOUS was the beaten favourite that day, and I'm going to bank on Joseph O'Brien's filly returning to top form.

Pretty Gorgeous was, undoubtedly, the best two-year-old filly in the sport last season. Joseph O'Brien's filly was due to return to Newmarket - where she won the Fillies' Mile in October - for the British 1000 Guineas, but had to miss that Classic after meeting a set-back in the winter.

On her reappearance at the Curragh, Pretty Gorgeous travelled into the race well and Shane Cross was the last jockey to make his move. Sadly, the favourite simply couldn't find that change of gear on her reappearance, and coasted through the line three lengths behind the winner in seventh.

Given that was her first run of the season, this sizeable filly is sure to have come on for that run, and her high knee action suits extra cut in the ground.

There's no doubt in my mind that Pretty Gorgeous is the most talented filly in this field, and I'm hoping she can bounce back to her best now the ground has turned in her favour.
