Highfield Princess was sent off as the favourite for the second Group One on day two at Royal Ascot, the King's Stand Stakes.
John Quinn's star mare had plenty of International raiders to contend with in the King's Stand Stakes. Coolangatta and Cannonball flew the flag for Australia, with Twilight Gleaming representing the US of A.
Karl Burke's three-year-old filly Dramatised was popular throughout the build-up to Tuesday's contest. Sadly, Frankie Dettori didn't have a ride, after his runner Manaccan was withdrawn on account of the rain-softened ground.

As with the Queen Anne Stakes earlier on the card, the field tracked over to the inside rail to find the quickest strip of ground. Twilight Gleaming and Coolangatta cut out the early running, with Highfield Princess tracking them towards the centre of the track.
With two furlongs to travel, the International runners gave way. Suddenly, Hollie Doyle and Bradsell loomed onto Highfield Princess' shoulder and worked his way into a narrow lead.
Bradsell and Highfield Princess settled down for a fight to the finish at the two pole. Archie Watson's three-year-old showed his inexperience, leaning in towards Highfield Princess throughout the closing stages, but the favourite could never drag herself in front and Bradsell claimed a deserved victory.
That was a second Royal Ascot victory for Archie Watson's sprinter, following his victory in the Coventry Stakes 12 months ago. Annaf ran a blinder to place third at 50/1, ahead of last year's runner-up, Twilight Calls.
The stewards did call an inquiry following the race, but after a short deliberation, the placings remained unaltered.
