Tips and predictions for the Prince of Wales's Stakes 2018 where Enable could grace the turf at Royal Ascot.
One of the best thoroughbreds in the world, Enable could well compete in the 2018 Prince of Wales's Stakes and bookmakers are keeping the champion filly safe in the market.
The 2017 Prix De L'arc De Triomphe winner is clearly the best filly in this race and whether or not she runs, punters are getting great value either way.
She's currently paying 4/1 to win the 2018 Prince of Wales's Stakes and given her form so far, that's not going to last long with bookmakers.
Enable has won six of her seven career starts, losing only to Shutter Speed and Raheen House at her second career starts.
Since that time she has won the likes of the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Yorkshire Oaks, winning the latter by five lengths over Coronet.
There's no denying her class and punters that have taken the odds on offer will be loving life if she lines up in the Prince of Wales's Stakes in June.
Cracksman is the current 3/1 favourite following his win in the Group 1 Champion Stakes at Ascot in 2017.
The classy three-year-old defeated the likes of Poet's Word and Hong Kong Vase winner Highland Reel. That was a super effort and he justified his favouritism on that occasion.
He has won four of his six starts and many believe he has more ability than Enable, but we're yet to see enough from Cracksman to say that the son of Frankel is good enough to beat one of the world's best.
Poet's Word could offer some value for each way bettors at 8/1. The five-year-old finished second behind Hawkbill in the 2018 Dubai Sheema Classic last weekend and form out of that race should stack up well during the Royal Ascot festival.
Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, the son of Poet's Voice has won four of his 11 starts and although he was unable to match Cracksman in the Champion Stakes, he could be a genuine place chance in a market which only currently features nine nominations.
Not much is covering the first four runners in the market but Enable and Cracksman could be fighting out the finish.
