Baaeed produced a blistering performance on his return to action at Newbury, sauntering to an effortless success in the Lockinge Stakes. William Haggas' stable remains in red-hot form, so it's no surprise to see QuinnBet list Baaeed as their 2/9 favourite.

Real World and Chindit could renew rivalries with Baaeed, having followed the favourite home in the Lockinge Stakes. Aidan O'Brien has entered up Order Of Australia, who finished second to Baaeed in the Prix du Moulin last season.

Sir Michael Stoute's mare, Lights On will have her first start in a Group One on Tuesday at Royal Ascot. Former winner, Accidental Agent and Sir Busker round off the field.

Real World and Chindit ran well to place in the Lockinge, but neither could lay a glove on the winner and it's hard to see how either could reverse that form. Order Of Australia and Lights On hold little appeal. Accidental Agent has previous in this race and has been in excellent form in handicaps this season, but it would be a huge ask for Eve Johnson-Houghton's eight-year-old to challenge at this sort of level.

Sir Busker, who stayed on from the rear to finish fifth in that Group One, holds appeal at 50/1. Yet, with just seven runners in the field and only two paid places available, an each-way bet seems rather pointless.

In short, there's little to be gained by taking on BAAEED, who could be the best miler we've seen on British shores since Frankel. Even at 2/9, the favourite is impossible to oppose.
