Royal Ascot drew to a close this afternoon, and viewers were treated to another fantastic day of racing. Attendees also had the pleasure of welcoming Her Majesty, The Queen, who made her first appearance of the week on the fifth and final day.

Having been beaten a head in the two previous runnings of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, Dream Of Dreams finally claimed the Royal Ascot win his career deserved on Saturday. After Art Power made the running down the stands' side, Sir Michael Stoute's seven-year-old made his move in the final furlong, holding off Glen Shiel to win his second Group One.

David Menusier celebrated his first Royal Ascot win in the Hardwicke Stakes, as Wonderful Tonight powered to an impressive victory on her seasonal reappearance. Aidan O'Brien ended a frustrating week on a high too, with Point Lonsdale justifying his short price by claiming victory in the Chesham Stakes.

Another trainer who saddled his first winner at the Royal Meeting was David Evans, who watched Rohaan fly home to win the Wokingham. Earlier, Charlie Appleby saddled a 1-2 in the Jersey Stakes, as Creative Force held off stablemate Naval Crown.

Oisin Murphy guided Foxes Tales to victory in the Golden Gates Stakes, ensuring he ended the week as Top Jockey for the first time. The final race, the Queen Alexandra Stakes went the way of Willie Mullins, as Ryan Moore won with Stratum.
