We've taken a closer look at every race on Friday and published our Royal Ascot day four tips.

Race 1 - Albany Stakes Tips

PRETTIEST made a good impression when winning on debut at Navan at the end of May. Aidan O'Brien's filly was in with three more experienced rivals that day, but got out of the stalls really well and comfortably held the field at arm's lengths.

Prettiest is the first foal out of Alice Springs, who finished third in the 1000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes here at Royal Ascot in 2016, before landing three Group Ones later in the season. She's also by Dubawi, who's produced plenty of precocious young sprinters and I fancy backing Ryan Moore's mount in Friday's opener.

Race 2 - King Edward VII Stakes Tips

TASMAN BAY has done very little wrong this season, and remains open to improvement over this length of trip. After bolting up on his reappearance at Newcastle, Sir Mark Todd's three-year-old kept on for third behind future Dante winner and Derby third Hurricane Lane at Newbury, and pushed the talented John Leeper all the way to the line at Newmarket last time out.

Le Havre has produced some decent mile-and-a-half horses and Tasman Bay is out of a beautifully bred mare who stayed 1m3f during her brief on-track career. This race looks wide open to me, and David Probert's mount appeals greatly at 12/1.

Race 5 - Sandringham Stakes Tips

The bookies clearly have no idea who's going to win this race, as most are going 10/1 or 11/1 the field. I'm going to fire a couple of arrows at this prize, the first being BELIEF for William Haggas and King's Stand Stakes-winning rider, Cieren Fallon.

Belief returned to action this season at Nottingham, where she stayed on to finish third behind Aura Blue, who would go on to place at Listed level. Haggas' filly then made all to win a very competitive maiden at Thirsk, beating a rival rated 86 by four lengths. Belief now makes her handicap bow off a mark of just 88, so she could be well ahead of the handicapper.

I'm also going to back William Buick's mount DIVINE LIGHT, who looked a smart prospect when winning on debut at Newmarket last season. Slow starts and running keen has proved costly for Charlie Appleby's filly on both her starts this season, but this represents a decent drop in class to what she's become used to. A stiff mile run at a good pace should suit her perfectly.

Race 6 - Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes Tips

This handicap is one Hughie Morrison often targets with his most promising middle-distance horse. Morrison has saddled the winner three times since 2003, and the worst finish any of his entrants has managed is fifth.

Morrison runs QUICKTHORN, who's shot up the handicap by 13 pounds following a superb victory at Haydock last time out. Oisin Murphy's mount stopped the clock in a time four seconds quicker than La Lune, who won a Group Three over the same course-and-distance an hour later. He's clearly got plenty of ability.

Race 7 - Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes Tips

The only one who really stands out for me in this race is SIGNIFICANTLY, who's been unlucky to run into some decent sorts this season. Karl Burke's charge was beaten by a future Listed winner in Creative Force on his reappearance at Newmarket, and chased home Commonwealth Cup contender Dragon Symbol over five furlongs at Hamilton.

Clifford Lee's mount has finished ahead of Jumby, Rohaan and Muker so far this season, and he's logged an RPR of 95 three times in his last four runs. Dropping back to five furlongs should suit this speedy sort and he remains well-handicapped running off 92.
