One of the highlights of the British sporting summer kicks off next week, as Royal Ascot 2021 begins on Tuesday June 15th. After last year's meeting took place behind closed doors, racing fans rejoiced when the government announced that 12,000 tickets would be on sale for all five days of this famous meeting.

Let's take a look through the racecards for all five days and highlight some of the horses that punters can look forward to watching in the major races.

2021 Royal Ascot Day One - Tuesday 15th June

Royal Ascot kicks off with an almighty bang, as three fantastic Group One races take place on day one. Palace Pier kick off proceedings in the Queen Anne Stakes, before the finest three-year-old colts over that same distance do battle in the St James's Palace Stakes.

The third top-level race on day one is the King's Stand Stakes. Battaash finally broke his Royal Ascot duck in this race 12 months ago, and Charlie Hills' star sprinter will make his seasonal reappearance in the King's Stand next Tuesday.

Along with the Group Ones, two-year-olds will fight it out over six furlongs in the Coventry Stakes. Tuesday's card also features the historic Ascot Stakes Handicap, the Copper Horse Handicap and the Listed Wolferton Stakes.

The Group One feature on day two at Royal Ascot is the Prince Of Wales's Stakes. Lord North returns to defend his crown, but John Gosden's star could face a trio of Ballydoyle runners, with Armory, Love and Mogul all holding entry.

Juvenile sprinters open the card in the Queen Mary Stakes, before potential St Leger contenders do battle in the Queen's Vase. The Duke Of Cambridge Stakes, Windsor Castle Stakes and Kensington Palace Stakes also take place on Wednesday, as does the historic Royal Hunt Cup Handicap.

Day three's card opens with the Norfolk Stakes. Three-year-olds then take centre-stage in the Hampton Court Stakes and the Ribblesdale, where Noon Star, Teona, Santa Barbara and Dubai Fountain are all entered up.

The runners in the 2021 Royal Ascot Gold Cup will then take to the track. Santiago, Trueshan and Subjectivist will all attempt to thwart Stradivarius, who'll be going for his fourth-straight victory in this historic Group One.

Once the Gold Cup has been handed out, the Britannia Stakes and King George V Stakes will take place. The Buckingham Palace Stakes brings the curtain down on Gold Cup day.

Two fantastic Group One races headline the action on day four. First, some of the fastest three-year-olds in the sport will fight for supremacy in the Commonwealth Cup. Three-year-old fillies that take centre-stage in the Coronation Stakes, where British and Irish 1000 Guineas winners, Empress Josephine and Mother Earth could lock horns for the first time.

Friday's card opens with the Albany Stakes, followed swiftly by the King Edward VII Stakes. Three lucrative handicaps close the card on day four, including the Sandringham Stakes and the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes.

Two top seven-furlong races, the Chesham Stakes and Jersey Stakes open the show on day five of Royal Ascot. Broome, Serpentine and Sir Ron Priestley will then clash in the Group Two Hardwicke Stakes.

Six furlong sprinters will then enter that stalls ahead of the final Group One at Royal Ascot, the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Impressive Duke Of York Stakes winner, Starman tops the betting, but could square off against a pair proven of Group One winners in Dream Of Dreams and Glass Slippers.

One of the biggest betting races of the week, the Wokingham Stakes Handicap follows the Diamond Jubilee. Saturday's card closes with the with the Golden Gates Handicap and the Queen Alexandra Stakes.
