Topping the market we find Mishriff, who won this races 12 months ago. John Gosden's star went on to land the Sheema Classic and the Juddmonte International Stakes in 2021 and victory on Saturday would make Mishriff the biggest purse winner in horse racing history.

Leading the US charge in this year's Saudi Cup is Brad Cox's Mandaloun, who will be going for his fourth win in a row. Billy Mott's Art Collector and Bob Baffert's Country Grammer will also line up in Riyadh, as will Steven Asmussen's Midnight Bourbon, who was narrowly beaten by Mandaloun in the Louisiana Stakes last month.

Daisuke Takayanagi's T O Keynes and Yoshito Yahagi's Marche Lorraine will fly the flag for Japan. Real World and Magny Cours will carry the famous blue silks of Godolphin into Saturday's Saudi Cup.
