Warwick racecourse staged the 50th renewal of its Classic Handicap Chase on Saturday afternoon. The big race on the card was won by Sam Thomas' Iwilldoit, who was last seen winning the 2021 Welsh Grand National.

Dan Skelton has been the trainer to follow on Saturday's this season and team Skelton enjoyed another excellent day at Warwick on Saturday. Galia Des Liteaux ran out an impressive winner of the Hampton Novices' Chase, before Grey Dawning surged to victory in an attritional renewal of the Leamington Novices' Hurdle. Galia Des Liteaux then received quotes of 16/1 for the Mares' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, with Grey Dawning entering the Ballymore betting at 20s.

Joe Tizzard won the opening as Non Stop made a winning handicap debut. Haddex Des Obeaux claimed his second successive win over fences in the Courage Cup handicap. Stan Sheppard, who struck on Iwilldoit in the feature, sealed a double by riding The Cox Express to victory in the card-closing maiden.

Warwick also staged a Pertemps Qualifier on Saturday afternoon, which was won in impressive style by Glimpse Of Gala. The winner received quotes of 20/1 to win the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival by BetUK, with runner-up Ashtown Lad also coming into 20/1 from 25s.
