Warm Heart won the Yorkshire Oaks
Relief Rally, Dragon Leader and Ropey Guest also claimed ITV victories

Aidan O'Brien celebrated yet another victory in the Yorkshire Oaks this afternoon, as James Doyle rode Warm Heart to victory over Free Wind. Read a recap of the 2023 Yorkshire Oaks and watch a replay of the finish here on our website.

After years of hitting the crossbar in high-profile handicaps, Ropey Guest finally claimed his day in the sun by winning the Clipper Handicap under Tom Queally. Clive Cox was celebrating on Thursday too, after the well-backed Dragon Leader landed the Premier Yearling Stakes.

Relief Rally continued her excellent seasonal form by winning the Lowther Stakes. Tom Marquand and William Haggas then sealed a double on the day when Sea Theme claimed a hard-fought victory in the Galtres Stakes.

William Buick got his name on the scoresheet after winning the Nursery Handicap aboard Gushing Gold. Ralph Beckett's Nigiri then made it three-from-three in handicaps by bolting up in the card-closing heritage handicap.
