They opened up with a 4-2 win over Great Britain, and followed that up with a 5-1 demolition of Denmark.

Canada then made it three wins in a row on Tuesday, but they made hard work of their meeting with Austria despite being big favourites heading into the game.

The Canadians needed an overtime goal to finally see off the stubborn Austrians, snatching a 7-6 victory.

Norway Form

Norway enter this matchup with the defending champions still seeking their first win of the tournament.

The Norwegians won just two games a year ago as they fended of relegation to Division 1A, and they are facing another fight to stay in the top tier this time around.

The opened the tournament with a 5-2 defeat to Switzerland, and suffered a 6-3 loss at the hands of the Czech Republic.

Norway’s knack for losing by three goals then continued in their third outing as they were beaten 4-1 by Finland.

The Norwegians ended that trend in game four, but they once again fell to defeat as they were beaten 2-0 by Denmark.
