Great Britain enter their fourth game of the Ice Hockey World Championship still seeking a first win of the tournament.

Team GB, who were playing in the Division 1 tournament a year ago, have been given a baptism of fire in their return to top level ice hockey.

They opened the tournament against defending champions Canada, and despite putting in a credible performance they were beaten 4-2.

Great Britain did not have it any easier in their next outing either, as they were blown out in an 8-0 defeat to Finland.

Team GB were not beaten as heavily in their third game, but they once again failed to score as they were beaten 3-0 by Switzerland.

Denmark go into this game in desperate need of a victory, having failed to build on a tournament-opening win.

The Danes, who narrowly missed out on the knockout stage a year ago, have now lost three consecutive games and have just three more to turn things around.

They opened up with a convincing 5- 1 win over Austria, but it has been all downhill since then.

Denmark suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at the hands of Canada, and then crashed to a 2-0 defeat when they took on Norway.

The Danes’ losing run then reached three games as they lost a high-scoring clash with the Czech Republic, 7-4.
