Germany found good form in the last couple of days, having won four games in a row. I don’t think anything separates them from Switzerland right now, so backing the Germans to win in handicap is my best bet.

Switzerland looked impressive in the group stages, ending it in 2nd place with a record of six victories (one in overtime) and just one defeat.
The only loss was seen against the reigning champions Canada 3-2 in the 6th round, but they quickly bounced back in the follow-up clash by defeating Finland 3-1.
Earlier in the tournament, Switzerland defeated Denmark 8-0, Great Britain 3-0, Czech Republic 2-1 in overtime, Austria 6-5 and Norway 5-2.
Roman Josi had the biggest contribution so far, wrapping up the group stage with 11 points (three goals and eight assists).
Germany Form
Germany had a slow start to the World Championship 2024 but wrapped up the group stages with four consecutive victories to claim the 3rd position with 15 points.
They earned back to back wins against France 6-3, Poland 4-2, Kazakhstan 8-2 and Latvia 8-1, while losing to Sweden in the 3rd round 6-1. A convincing loss with the same result was also registered against the United States.
John Peterka, Leo Pfoederl and Yasin Ehliz topped the charts for Germany in the group stages, having gathered nine points each.
Verdict
Both sides wrapped up the group stages with some great performances, so I expect to see a close match in Ostrava. Germans to win in a +1.5 handicap stands out as the best bet.
