The Stars began this series with a 5-1 home defeat to Colorado, but rebounded over the next couple of games to take the lead.

They recorded back-to-back overtime victories, winning 4-3 at home and 2-1 on the road, only to then suffer a 4-0 defeat in Colorado that levelled up the series one again.

Dallas rallied at home though, regaining the series lead with a 6-2 blowout of the Avalanche on Monday.
