Dallas go into their final game of the regular season looking to end a six-game losing run before the playoffs.

The Stars ended March on a six-game win streak, and took that run to seven games in their opening game of April as they beat Nashville 5-1 at home.

However, they have not managed a single victory since that success against the Predators on April 3.

Dallas’ run was ended by a 5-3 home loss to Pittsburgh, and they then lost back-to-back overtime games as they fell 3-2 at Minnesota and 5-4 at home to Vancouver.

The Stars then lost 4-0 to Winnipeg and 5-3 to Utah at home, before heading to Detroit for a 6-4 loss to the Red Wings.

Nashville Predators Form

Nashville were eliminated from the playoffs a long time ago and enter their final game of the season having now lost eight of their last 10 games.

The Predators miserable run started at home as they lost 3-2 to St Louis and 3-1 to Vegas, and continued with road defeats to Philadelphia, 2-1, Columbus, 8-4, and Dallas, 5-1.

Their skid reached six games with a 2-1 loss at home to Montreal, but they rallied to win the next two.

Nashville beat the New York Islanders 7-6 in overtime at home, before travelling to Utah to win via a shootout, 4-3.

The Predators have not win since though, suffering a 5-3 road defeat in Vegas and 7-3 defeat at home to Utah.
