New York Rangers Form

New York come into this game having cooled off over the past few days, losing two of their last three games.

The Rangers went into the All-Star break on the back of a 7-2 win in Ottawa, and when they returned to action they embarked on a red-hot run of form.

They beat Colorado 2-1 (OT) and Tampa Bay 3-1 at home, and then followed up a 4-3 overtime win in Chicago with home wins over Calgary, 2-0, and Montreal, 7-4.

New York then downed the Islanders 6-5 in overtime in the Stadium Series, and took their win streak to 10 games with a 3-1 win at home to Dallas, and road wins at New Jersey, 5-1, and Philadelphia, 2-1.

The Rangers’ form has dipped since then though, as they sandwiched a 4-1 win over Columbus with road defeats to the Blue Jackets, 4-2, and Toronto, 4-3 (SO).
