Los Angeles head to Minnesota having rebounded from a five-game losing skid with a five-game win streak.

The Kings have not tasted defeat since the 3-2 shootout defeat when they hosted St Louis back on March 5.

They avenged that loss a couple of days later by beating the Blues 2-1 in overtime, and backed that up on the road with a 6-5 victory in Vegas.

Los Angeles then returned home to win three more home games, starting with a 4-1 blowout of the New York Islanders.

The Kings then shut out Washington in a 3-0 victory, before downing Nashville 1-0 in overtime.

Minnesota Wild Form

Minnesota enter this matchup having struggled over the past few weeks, losing seven of their previous 10 games.

The Wild’s rough run started with a three-game skid that saw them lose 3-2 at home to Detroit, and 6-1 to Utah and 5-2 to Colorado on the road.

They rallied to beat Boston 1-0 and Seattle 4-3, only to then suffer a 3-1 defeat in Vancouver and a 3-1 loss at home to Pittsburgh.

Minnesota avoided a third straight loss as they beat Colorado via a shootout, 2-1, but they failed to build on that win.

The Wild suffered a 3-2 overtime defeat at the hands of the New York Rangers, before losing 5-1 when they hosted St Louis.
