Minnesota Wild Form & Team News

Minnesota have rescued this series with back-to-back wins to send it to a deciding Game 7.

The Wild started the series with a narrow 1-0 overtime win over Vegas but things went downhill quickly.

They suffered 3-1 defeat in Game 2 before losing back-to-back games on their own ice, 5-2 and 4-0.

Those losses left Minnesota having to win out and so far they have been successful, following up a 4-1 win in Vegas with a 3-0 victory at home.

The Wild have now beaten Vegas in eight of their 14 meetings and are 3-1 in their last four trips to ‘Sin City’.

Carson Soucy (upper body) and Andrew Hammond (upper body) missed Game 6 and are day-to-day.

Marco Rossi (upper body) and Marcus Johansson (arm) will sit this one out.

Vegas Golden Knights Form & Team News

Vegas have blown two chances to wrap up the series.

The Golden Knights bounced back from a 1-0 Game 1 defeat to win three straight games to take control.

They won 3-1 at home before running out 5-2 and 4-0 winners in the two games played in St Paul.

That gave Vegas the chance to secure a place in the next round on their home ice.

They wasted that chance with a 4-2 loss and then fell to a 3-0 defeat on the road to set up this decider.

The Golden Knights have lost three of their last four home games against the Wild with two of those losses coming in this series.

They have several injury concerns too with five players listed as day-to-day on the injury report.

They are Brayden McNabb (COVID-19), Ryan Reaves, Tomas Nosek, Max Pacioretty (all undisclosed) and Peyton Krebs (jaw).
