New Jersey come into this game on the back of a bad loss but having won five of their last seven games to improve to 10-6-2.

The Devils endured a rough run in October as they lost four straight, but they steadied the ship with a 6-2 win over Anaheim.

They then went out on the road to beat Vancouver 6-0, only to lose 3-0 when they moved on to Calgary to face the Flames.

New Jersey bounced back immediately though, sandwiching a 5-3 home win over Montreal with road defeats to Edmonton, 3-0, and New York Islanders, 4-3 in overtime.

The Devils failed to make it four wins in a row though, as they were beaten 1-0 when they hosted San Jose.

Florida Panthers Form

Florida come into this matchup riding a seven-game win streak that has improved their record to 11-3-1.

The Panthers were hit or miss through the first few weeks of the season, winning four and losing four of their first four games.

They have hit a hot streak since then though, with the 3-1 win at the New York Rangers sparking this seven-gam streak.

Florida then won 6-3 at the New York Islanders, 5-2 in Buffalo and 6-4 at Dallas, before returning home to win three straight.

The Panthers made it back-to-back wins over the Stars with a 4-2 victory, before beating Nashville 6-2 and Philadelphia via a shootout.
