The Panthers enjoyed a good run in the mid-January as they won four times in a five-game spell.

Florida were beaten 6-2 at the New York Rangers and 7-6 in overtime at Pittsburgh before heading out to lose 4-3 to Los Angeles.

The Panthers were able to halt that slide in their final game before the All-Star break though, upsetting Boston 4-3 in overtime at home.
