Vegas head back to Dallas looking to snap a two-game losing skid and wrap up the Western Conference Finals.

The Golden Knights downed Winnipeg 4-1 and Edmonton 4-2 to set up this meeting with Dallas, and at one stage they looked set to make light work of the Stars.

They made home advantage count as they won the first two games at home in overtime, 4-3 and 3-2.

Vegas then travelled to Dallas and won 4-0, putting them on the brink of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Golden Knights have failed to clinch in the last two games though, losing 3-2 in overtime on the road and 4-2 at home.

Dallas return home looking to make it three wins in a row and set up a Game 7 meeting with Vegas.

The Stars went through a couple of lengthy series to make it to this stage, beating Minnesota 4-2 and Seattle 4-3.

They must now successfully negotiate another long series in order to reach the Stanley Cup Finals.

Dallas were in trouble when they lost 4-3 and 3-2 in overtime on the road in Vegas, before returning home to lose 4-0.

The Stars have hauled themselves right back into the series though, following up a 3-2 overtime win at home with a 4-2 victory in Vegas.
