Vegas head to Canada seeking their sixth win in seven games and for their first win on the road this season.

The Golden Knights opened the season with three straight wins, only to then lose three in a row.

They snapped that skid with a 6-1 home win over Los Angeles and that proved to be the start of a four-game tear that also saw them beat Ottawa 6-4, San Jose 7-3 and Calgary 5-0.

Vegas’ run was finally halted when they went out on the road to lose 6-3 in Los Angeles, but a return home brought a return to winning ways.

The Golden Knights go into this game having beat Utah 4-3 in overtime last Saturday night.

Edmonton come into this game on the back of a loss but having won four of their last six games to improve to 6-6-1.

The Oilers began the season with three straight defeats and after seven games they sat with a 2-4-1 record.

They started to turn things around though, as they beat Pittsburgh 4-0 at home before downing Detroit on the road, 3-2 in overtime.

Edmonton then bounced back from a 6-1 defeat in Columbus with a couple of road wins, downing Nashville 5-1 and Calgary 4-2.

The Oilers failed to make it three-in-a-row when they returned home though, as they were beaten 3-0 by New Jersey on Monday night.
