The Vegas Golden Knights head out on the road for the first time in the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Finals, looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Florida Panthers – but can they?

The Golden Knights could not have made a better start to the finals, having extended their perfect all-time home record with back-to-back wins over the Panthers, out-scoring the Florida franchise 12-4 in the process.

Vegas are not on the home ice for the next two games, but can they move a step closer to a series sweep by winning Game 3 on Thursday night? Or can Florida get themselves right back into this series with a big home win?

You can watch the Vegas Golden Knights at Florida Panthers live in Game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals today (01:00 BST Friday). Our NHL Stanley Cup Finals ice hockey live stream guide shows you how to watch the match live online.

Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas head to Florida in confident mood after four dominant periods secured a 2-0 series lead in the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals.

The Golden Knights scored three times in the third period as they finally pulled away to win 5-2 in Game 1, but no late rally was needed when the two teams met again for Game 2.

They raced out to a 2-0 lead before the end of the first period and never looked back as they secured a 7-2 victory over the Panthers.

Jonathan Marchessault has led the charge for Vegas through the first two games, scoring three of their 12 goals in the series so far.

At the other end of the ice, goalie Adin Hill has been in tremendous form for the Golden Knights with 62 saves from 66 shots against.

Florida Panthers

Florida return home licking their wounds after being thoroughly beaten in the first two games of the series.

The Panthers came into the Stanley Cup Finals having never beaten the Golden Knights in Vegas, and that is still the case after Games 1 and 2.

They stuck around in the first meeting, before finally giving up three goals in the third period to lose 5-2.

Things did not get much better for them in Game 2 as they failed to even lay a glove on the Golden Knights as they were beaten 7-2.

Goalie Sergei Babrovsky had a rough night as he gave up four goals before being benched for Alex Lyon, who then conceded three himself.
