Vegas’ form has tailed off over the past couple of weeks, with five defeats coming in seven games.

Much of this poor run has come on the home ice too, starting with a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Los Angeles.

The Golden Knights hit back immediately to beat Florida 4-2, but then went on to lose their next three games.

They were beaten 4-3 by Edmonton, 4-0 by Dallas and 3-2 by Detroit before finally snapping that slump with a 6-2 win against Washington.

Vegas failed to follow that up though, losing 4-1 at Arizona in the first game of this six-game road trip.

New Jersey Devils Form

New Jersey go into this game in strong form, having won six of their last seven games.

The Devils bounced back from a loss to St Louis with a 4-3 overtime win at home to the New York Rangers.

They then built on that victory on the road as they won 5-3 at Carolina, 6-2 at Anaheim and 5-2 at Los Angeles.

New Jersey then beat San Jose via a shootout, but saw their streak end in Seattle in their next outing as they lost 4-3 in overtime.

The Devils bounced back straight away though, as they returned home to beat Pittsburgh 2-1 in overtime.
