Winnipeg head to Dallas on an inconsistent run of form having won five of their previous seven games.

The Jets ended March on a three-game winning run that saw them beat Washington 3-2, New Jersey 4-0 and Vancouver 3-1 at home.

They failed to maintain that consistency though, as they split the next four games on their schedule.

Winnipeg lost 4-1 on the road in Los Angeles, before rebounding with a 4-0 shutout victory in Vegas.

The Jets then responded to a 4-1 road defeat in Utah with a 3-1 success when they played host to St Louis.

Dallas Stars Form

Dallas enter this matchup on a rough run of form, having lost each of their previous three games.

The Stars ended March on a run of six consecutive victories that started with home wins over Philadelphia, 3-2, and Minnesota, 3-0.

They then beat Edmonton 4-3, Calgary 5-2, and Seattle 5-1 and 3-1 on the road, before returning home to beat Nashville 5-1 in their first April outing.

Dallas have not won since though, with a 5-3 defeat to Pittsburgh proving to be the start of a three-game skid.

The Stars then lost 3-2 in overtime on the road at Minnesota, before heading back home for a 6-5 overtime defeat at the hands of Vancouver.

Dallas boast a solid home record, but their form has cooled off badly in recent days.
