Winnipeg enter this matchup having finally snapped their three-game losing skid with a victory in Philadelphia last night.

The Jets lost back-to-back games in the middle of January, but came roaring back as a 3-2 overtime win in Colorado sparked a season-best run of 11 straight win.

They then beat Utah and Calgary 5-2 at home, before heading out on the road to down Montreal 4-1, Boston 6-2 and Washington 5-4 in overtime.

Winnipeg followed that up with home wins over Carolina, 3-0, and the New York Islanders, 4-3, and then sandwiched a 2-1 overtime win over San Jose at home with road wins at St Louis, 4-3, and Ottawa, 4-1.

The Jets were unable to extend that tear beyond 11 games as they lost 2-1 in Nashville, 2-1 to Philadelphia and 3-2 to the New York Islanders, but they did rally last night to beat Philadelphia 4-1.

New Jersey enter this matchup looking to kick-start a good run of form, having now lost seven of their last 12 games.

The Devils’ underwhelming form saw them go 5-5 during a 10-game spell that saw them fail to string together wins.

The last of those five wins came on the opening day of March as they went out on the road to beat Utah 3-1.

New Jersey failed to back that up though, as they moved on to Vegas for a 2-0 shutout defeat at the hands of the Golden Knights.

The Devils then moved on to Dallas for a showdown with the Stars on Tuesday night, which they lost 4-3.
