Winnipeg have been hit or miss during this road trip so far, going 2-2 to maintain their spot atop the Western Division.

The Jets enjoyed a red-hot run between late October and the middle of November as they won seven-straight games, but they have cooled off since then.

Their streak was halted by a 4-1 defeat at Tampa Bay, and they then lost 5-0 at Florida before rebounding to beat the Panthers at home, 6-3.

Winnipeg backed that up with a 4-1 win in Pittsburgh, only to then suffer a 4-1 defeat in Nashville.

The Jets issued an immediate response in the form of a 4-1 victory at Minnesota, but they failed to follow that up as they then moved on to Los Angeles for a 4-1 defeat.

Vegas come into this game on the back of a loss, and having blown hot and cold over the past few weeks to leave themselves at 14-6-3.

The Golden Knights won back to back games in the middle of November, following up a 3-2 win in Anaheim with a 4-2 victory at Utah.

That sequence was halted by a 5-2 defeat to Washington, and they then lost 3-0 when they went out on the road to face Toronto.

Vegas responded with a three-game win streak, winning 3-2 in Ottawa and 6-2 at Montreal, before moving on to Philadelphia to down the Flyers via a shootout.

The Golden Knights failed to make it four-in-a-row though, as they then lost via a shootout in Colorado.

Vegas have dropped a couple at home this season, but on the whole they have been strong at the T-Mobile Arena.

They have also repeatedly beaten Winnipeg in recent seasons, so we are expecting a home win here.
