Romain Grosjean escapes from fiery crash at Bahrain GP
Haas driver hit the barrier at 137mph

Romain Grosjean escaped from a fiery crash at Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix, managing to walk away from the incident.

Grosjean was taken to hospital with burns to his hands after his Haas car speared the barriers on the first lap of the race.

The 34-year-old hit the barrier at 137mph, with the impact measuring a force of 53G. He was in the inferno for nearly 30 seconds before escaping.

Lewis Hamilton won the race - his 11th victory of the season.
