Max Verstappen led a Red Bull 1-2 in Friday's first practice session at the Turkish Grand Prix.
Verstappen's team-mate Alexander Albon was second, ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, and Pierre Gasly's Alpha Tauri.
This weekend's Turkish GP takes place at the Istanbul Park circuit, which is holding its first race since 2011.
The track was only resurfaced two weeks ago and drivers were over 10 seconds off the expected pace, with a number of spins throughout the session as drivers struggled with the low-grip track.
Lewis Hamilton, who was 15th on Friday morning, is favourite to win Sunday's race according to the latest Turkish Grand Prix odds as he looks to seal a seventh F1 Championship.
