Mauricio Pochettino is favourite to become the next permanent manager of Newcastle United as a takeover of the Premier League club moves closer.
Steve Bruce's future as Newcastle boss could end when Mike Ashley finally sells up at St James' Park with a takeover organised by broker Amanda Staveley on behalf of the Saudi Arabia public investment fund in the hands of the Premier League's fit and proper person test.
Bookmaker Paddy Power make it 6/5 for ex-Tottenham manager Pochettino to make a return to the Premier League at Newcastle.
Former Magpies boss Rafa Benitez, who had helped spark Staveley's interest in the club before leaving last summer, is 10/3 to make a return to the dugout at Newcastle.
Julian Nagelsmann (14/1), Massimiliano Allegri (20/1) and Jorge Jesus (20/1) are also in the frame to bring some international flavour to Tyneside.
Kevin Keegan, the ex-Newcastle boss who went so close to winning the Premier League title, is 25/1 to make a dramatic return.
