  • New Orleans Saints won 47-10 when the teams last met in 2017

Buffalo Bills Form

Buffalo have been inconsistent over the past six weeks, losing three of their last five games.

The Bills went into the bye on the back of a 34-31 loss at Tennessee but bounced back a fortnight later with a 26-11 win over Miami.

They then slumped to a 9-6 defeat to Jacksonville before blowing out the New York Jets 45-17.

Buffalo were unable to build on that win over the Jets though, getting blown out themselves at home to Indianapolis last weekend, 41-15.

QB Josh Allen has had a rough time over the past three games, getting picked off five times and sacked seven times.

Allen is 251/382 for 2,811 yards, 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. He also has three rushing scores and 340 yards on the ground.

Stefon Diggs remains his favourite target and has 60 catches for 773 yards and six touchdowns.

Emmanuel Sanders has also played a part in the passing games with 531 yards and four scores, while Dawson Knox has five receiving TDs.

Buffalo need more from their run game with Devin Singletary and Zack Moss combining for just 680 yards and six TDs on the ground.

New Orleans Saints Form

New Orleans head into this matchup in a slump following last weekend’s 40-29 loss in Philadelphia.

The Saints have now lost three straight games – a run that includes a 27-25 shocker at home to Atlanta and 23-21 loss in Tennessee.

They have not won a game since upsetting defending champions Tampa Bay 36-27 back on October 31.

Trevor Siemian is the starting QB with Jameis Winston sidelined and he has gone 82/144 for 920 yards, eight touchdowns and two picks.

Only one Saints receiver has passed the 400-yard mark this season. Deonte Harris has 418 yards and two TDs.

Marquez Callaway is the team leader in TD catches with six, He has 372 yards receiving.

Alvin Kamara is the biggest weapon on this offense with 840 yards from scrimmage and seven TDs. He has missed the last two games though, and he could sit this one out too.

Verdict

New Orleans have consistently delivered as an underdog this season, especially at home.

So while Buffalo are the better team their inconsistent form makes a Saints cover a real possibility here.
