Calgary head out on the road on the back of a victory, but having made a mixed start with three wins and three defeats.
The Stampeders opened up the season at home and enjoyed a winning start as they beat Hamilton 32-24.
They dropped their road opener, 26-17 at the BC Lions, but bounced back immediately after they bye as they downed Winnipeg in overtime at home, 22-19.
Calgary went out on the road for their next two games and failed to build on that victory as they were beaten 30-26 in Montreal and 41-37 at Winnipeg.
The Stampeders did bounced back at home though, as they downed the BC Lions, 25-24, last time out.
Ottawa Redblacks Form
Ottawa have made an impressive start to the 2024 season winning four of their first six games.
That means the Redblacks have already matched last year’s win total, and they can eclipse that if they make it three wins in a row here.
They kicked off the season with a 23-19 upset of Winnipeg, only to lose 47-21 at defending champions Montreal the following weekend.
Ottawa hit back immediately with a 24-22 win over Hamilton, but again failed to back up a victory as they then lost 25-16 in Winnipeg.
The Redblacks have strung together wins since then however, beating Edmonton 37-34 on the road before returning home to down the Elks 20-14.
Verdict
Ottawa have the better record, but Calgary have been the more reliable spread bet.
