The Blue Bombers came into the season with their eyes firmly on regaining the Grey Cup in 2023, having seen their three-peat quest fall just short last year.

The Roughriders edged Edmonton 17-13 on the road last weekend, and will hope to build on that to replicate last season’s strong start.

They won four of their first five games in 2022, only to see the wheels come off from there.

Saskatchewan won only two of their remaining regular season games as they missed out on a place in the playoffs.

The Roughriders finished the season with a seven-game losing skid, resulting in a 6-12 record that put them fourth in the West Division.
