Chicago go into this game with the defending Super Bowl champions having started the season 0-2.

The Bears finished the 2022 season with a league-worst record, but were widely expected to start turning things around in 2023.

That has not happened so far, with Matt Eberflus’ team losing their first two games of the season and looking bad on both sides of the football.

Chicago opened their season with a 38-20 home defeat to Green Bay that plunged them into crisis.

And despite a few flashes last weekend, the Bears produced another bad display as they lost 27-17 at Tampa Bay.

Kansas City go into this game looking to build on last weekend’s victory in Jacksonville.

The defending champion Chiefs came into the season as one of the favourites to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy again next year.

They got off to a rough start though, as the offense spluttered in a season-opening 21-20 defeat at home to Detroit.

Kansas City were able to bounce back in Week 2, although the offense struggled once again in the victory over the Jaguars.

The Chiefs put up just 17 points, but the defense stepped up to ensure that was enough for a 17-9 win.

Kansas City’s offense has spluttered so far, so this meeting with Chicago is perfect timing.

The Bears cannot stop teams and the offense is a total mess, so a one-sided win for the Chiefs looks highly likely here.
