Alabama head back out on the road having split their last four games to leave themselves with a 6-2 record.

The Crimson Tide opened with a 63-0 shutout of Western Kentucky, and backed that up with a 42-16 win over South Florida and a 42-10 victory at Wisconsin.

They then fended off a second half fightback from Georgia to beat the Bulldogs 41-34 for their biggest win of the season to date.

A week later Alabama were brought back down to Earth by a stunning 40-35 defeat at Vanderbilt, only to rebound with a 27-25 win over South Carolina.

The Crimson Tide failed to back that up as they then lost 24-17 in Tennessee, but they again bounced back immediately from loss, this time shutting out Missouri in a 34-0 win.

LSU go into this game on the back of a road defeat that has left them 6-2 in their quest to make the SEC Championship Game.

The Tigers endured a losing start to the season as they were beaten 27-20 by USC, but they responded to that early setback with a six-game win streak.

They beat Nicholls State 44-21, before heading out on the road to down South Carolina 36-33.

LSU then returned home and downed UCLA 34-17 and South Alabama 42-10, setting themselves up for a big matchup with Ole Miss which they won 29-26.

The Tigers made it six-in-a-row with a 34-10 win in Arkansas, but they failed to make it seven straight wins as they were beaten 38-23 at Texas A&M.

Alabama’s offense rebounded from the struggle in Tennessee and the defense will be full of confidence after an impressive shutout against Missouri.
