Georgia at Kentucky Predictions & Tips

Georgia are tipped to cover the spread in another one-sided win.

The Bulldogs have been dominant through their first two games, and that spells trouble for a Kentucky team who just suffered a heavy defeat.

  • Georgia have won their first two games by more than 25 points
  • Kentucky have failed to cover in 6 of their previous 10 games
  • Kentucky just lost to South Carolina by 25 points
  • The Under has cashed in 6 of Georgia's last 8 games

Head To Head

  • Georgia lead the all-time series 63-12-2
  • Georgia won 51-13 when the two teams last met in October 2023

Georgia Form

Georgia are heading out on the road for their first conference game of the 2024 college football season.

The Bulldogs are on a hunt to regain the national championship they surrendered last year when they suffered a surprise defeat in the SEC Championship Game.

They went 12-0 in the regular season to set up a meeting with Alabama, only to then lose 27-24 with the conference crown on the line.

That kept Georgia out of the college football playoffs, but they did wrap up the season on a positive note as they blew out Florida State in the Orange Bowl, 63-3.

The Bulldogs now have a shot at revenge when they face Alabama in Week 4 of the 2024 season, which they opened with an impressive 34-3 win over Clemson and a 48-3 rout of Tennessee Tech.

Kentucky Form

Kentucky enter this matchup on the back of a defeat that has left them with a 1-1 record through two games.

The Wildcats won their first two SEC games in 2023, including a 33-14 upset of Florida, but they failed to maintain that momentum.

They lost five of their remaining six conference games, before closing out the regular season with a 38-31 upset of Louisville in a non-conference matchup.

Kentucky then faced another ACC team, Clemson, in the Gator Bowl, and suffered a dramatic defeat as they gave up 28 points in the fourth quarter to lose 38-35.

There was no such drama in the Wildcats’ season-opener as they ran out 31-0 winners at home to Southern Mississippi, but they failed to back that up as they then lost 31-6 to South Carolina.

Verdict

Georgia have made light work of their first two opponents, and more of the same is expected here.

The Bulldogs should have too much for a Kentucky team who just suffered a convincing loss to South Carolina a week ago.
