They bounced back to beat Virginia 27-13 on the road and Villanova 38-20 at home, but they have won just once since then.

Maryland fell to a 42-28 defeat when they visited Indiana, and they then returned home for a 37-10 loss at the hands of Northwestern.

The Terrapins avoided a third straight loss as they edged USC 29-28 at home, only to immediately return to losing ways with a 48-23 defeat in Minnesota.

Oregon go into this matchup boasting a perfect 9-0 record that has made them the number one team in the nation.

The Ducks kicked off the season with three straight non-conference wins, beating Idaho 24-14, Boise State 37-34 and Oregon State 49-14.

They then marked their Big Ten debut with a 34-13 victory over UCLA, before winning their first home game in the conference by beating Michigan State 31-10.

Oregon then edged Ohio State 32-31 in a crucial clash, before heading to Purdue to shut out the Boilermakers in a 35-0 victory.

The Ducks then beat Illinois 38-9 at home, and made it nine-in-a-row with a 38-17 road win over defending national champions Michigan.
