The Blazers opened the season with a commanding win, beating North Carolina A&T 35-6 at home.

They have failed to back that up though, giving up a combined 90 points while losing each of their last two games.

UAB’s first road game of the season saw them suffer a 49-35 defeat at the hands of Georgia Southern.

The Blazers then gave up 24 unanswered points in the second quarter as they were beaten 41-21 at home by Louisiana.

Defending national champions Georgia take a 3-0 record into their final game before the SEC action begins.

The Bulldogs down UT-Martin in their season-opener, but they laboured through the first half and led just 17-0 at the break.

The offense showed more after the restart though, and they ultimately pulled away for a 48-7 victory.

Georgia then went scoreless in their opening quarter a week later, but they did roar into life with 31 unanswered points in the second quarter as they eased to a 45-3 win over Ball State.

The Bulldogs’ slow starts continued in Week 3 too, as they trailed 14-3 to South Carolina at half-time, but they were able to turn it around after the break, earning a 24-14 victory.

Georgia have underwhelmed so far, but with the SEC schedule on the horizon they will want to dominate here.

They should run out convincing winners and we are backing them to cover against a UAB team who struggle against the spread on the road.
