The Trojans opened up at home to San Jose State and racked up 56 points on their way to a 56-28 victory.

A week later they stacked up 21 first-quarter points and 24 fourth-quarter points as they dominated Nevada in a 66-14 victory.

And last weekend, USC stormed out to an early lead and never looked back in a 56-10 blowout of Stanford.

The Trojans scored three first-quarter touchdowns in that one, and topped that with four more in the second quarter.

Arizona State come into this matchup on the back of a couple of defeats that have dropped them to 1-2.

The Sun Devils made a winning start to the 2023 season, although it was an uninspiring 24-21 win over Southern Utah.

They failed to build on that a week later though, as they were beaten 27-15 at home by Oklahoma State.

Arizona State then went from bad to worse as they failed to put up a single point in their latest outing.

The Sun Devils were beaten 29-0 by Fresno State, hardly an ideal preparation for a meeting with Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans.
