Arizona can retain the NFL’s only 100% by winning and covering against Green Bay.

The Cardinals offense has been outstanding so far and the defense has been showing improvement.

This is another opportunity for Arizona to show that they are the real deal. They are tipped to take it.

Green Bay Packers Form

Green Bay have proven that the embarrassing 38-3 loss to New Orleans in Week 1 was a freak result.

The Packers have reeled off six straight wins to stay right in the race for the number one see in the playoffs.

Five of those wins came against teams with losing records, but they did beat the 5-2 Bengals in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago.

QB Aaron Rodgers is 151/221 for 1,710 yards, 15 touchdowns and three interceptions, with only one pick coming during this win streak. He also has two rushing TDs.

Davante Adams has been his favorite target, hauling in 52 of his 73 targets for 744 yards and three TDs. Adams could be missing for this matchup due to COVID-19 though.

Green Bay’s other key offensive weapon is expected to feature though. RB Aaron Jones has 590 yards from scrimmage as well as six touchdowns.

Defensively they continue to give up plenty of yards, but the Packers have kept three of their last four opponents below 20 points and have forced two takeaways in five of their last six games.

Arizona Cardinals Form

Arizona are the only team left with a perfect record heading into Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season.

The Cardinals opened with a 38-13 victory over Tennessee and have not let up since that victory.

Notable wins have seen them beat the Rams in Los Angeles, 37-20, and the Browns in Cleveland, 37-14.

The offense has been red-hot, scoring at least 31 points in six of their seven games so far.

QB Kyler Murray is 164/223 for 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. He has also rushed for 126 yards and three scores.

Murray has been spreading the ball around with no less than five players receiving 31 targets or more.

DeAndre Hopkins has been the standout performer with 420 yards and seven touchdowns, but Christian Kirk (408 yards, four TDs) and AJ Green (406 yards, three TDs) have played key roles.

RBs James Connor and Chase Edmonds are a one-two punch out of the backfield. They have combined for 939 yards from scrimmage and six TDs.

The defense has played its part too, ranking fourth in total defense and first in points allowed per game. They have also forced 14 takeaways – the second best record in the NFL.
