Detroit are tipped to cover as they complete a season sweep of Green Bay.

The Lions have established themselves as the NFC’s best team and already beat the Packers by double digits on the road.

Green Bay head to Detroit looking to extend a three-game win streak that has improved their record to 9-3.

The Packers split their first four games of the season, but enjoyed a four-game winning run in October that put them firmly in playoff contention.

That sequence was halted by a 24-14 home defeat to Detroit on November 3, but they have not lost since.

Green Bay blocked a last-gasp field goal to escape Chicago with a 20-19 victory, and they followed that up a week later with a 38-10 blowout of injury-hit San Francisco.

The Packers then made it three wins in a row on Thanksgiving, as they downed Miami 30-17 at home.

Detroit Lions Form

Detroit enter this matchup with the joint-best record in the NFL, having won each of their last 10 games to improve to 11-1.

The Lions have not tasted defeat since the surprise 20-16 home loss to Tampa Bay back on September 15.

They have reeled off 10 consecutive victories, including a couple of big road wins in the division, beating Minnesota 31-29 and Green Bay 24-14.

Detroit recorded their biggest win to date as they destroyed Jacksonville, 52-6, on November 17, and backed that up by beating Indianapolis 24-6 on the road.

The Lions then made it 10-in-a-row on Thanksgiving as they fended off a second-half fightback to beat Chicago 23-20.

Detroit have had a couple of close calls recently, but they are the cream of the crop in the NFC North.

The offense is playing well and the defense is doing a sound job despite dealing with some injuries, so we are taking the Lions on Thursday Night Football.
