Green Bay enter the 2024 season looking to make another deep postseason run after making it to the Divisional round a year ago.

There was plenty of intrigue surrounding the Packers as they began life without Aaron Rodgers, and despite winning their season opener they made a rough start.

They lost five of their first seven games, but kept themselves in the playoff hunt when they upset the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs as part of a run of four wins in five games.

Green Bay cooled off in the first half of December as they were beaten at the New York Giants and at home to Tampa Bay, but they rallied over the final three weeks to make the playoffs.

The Packers downed Dallas on the road in the Wildcard round, 48-32, but failed to back that up as they were then beaten 24-21 at San Francisco.

Philadelphia Eagles Form

Philadelphia come into the 2024 campaign looking to erase the sour tasted of their dramatic collapse last season.

The Eagles, who had lost the Super Bowl the season before, were considered one of the front-runners to go all the way in 2023.

They looked every bit the contender as they won 10 of their first 11 regular season games, but that red-hot run came to a shocking halt in December.

Philadelphia lost five of their final six regular season games to surrender the NFC East crown and limp into the postseason.

The Eagles then went ‘one-and-done’ in the playoffs as they crashed to a 32-9 defeat at Tampa Bay in the Wildcard round.

Philadelphia’s collapse was one of the biggest stories of last season, but this is still a good team.

Both lines are capable of dominating a game and Jalen Hurts has plenty of weapons at his disposal, so we are leaning towards the Eagles in Week 1.
