Kansas City are tipped to cover in another comfortable win.

The Chiefs’ defense is going to have very few issues stopping a terrible New York offense here.

And while the Jets do boast a strong defense, it is unlikely to prevent KC from winning by double digits.

Kansas City have rebounded from an opening night loss and now head out on the road seeking a third consecutive win.

As is tradition, the defending Super Bowl champions were given the honour of kicking off the 2023 campaign.

However, it proved to be a disappointing night for the Chiefs as they suffered a surprise 21-20 defeat to Detroit at Arrowhead.

Kansas City rebounded a week later with a 17-9 win in Jacksonville, and then backed that up with their most dominant performance to date.

The Chiefs did not give up a single point until garbage time and were able to pull Patrick Mahomes as they crushed Chicago, 41-10, to improve to 3-1.

New York Jets Form

New York have failed to build on their opening-night upset of Buffalo, losing back-to-back games to fall to 1-2.

The Jets came into the season with high hopes after landing Aaron Rodgers, but he suffered a season-ending injury just minutes into his debut.

They were able to overcome that shocking development as they edged Buffalo 22-16 in overtime, but it has been all downhill since.

New York went out on the road in Week 2 and suffered a 30-10 blowout defeat at the hands of Dallas.

The Jets’ defense fared better last weekend, but once again the offense stalled and that resulted in a 15-10 home defeat to division rivals New England.

Verdict

KC Chiefs @ NY Jets

These two teams are headed in very different directions heading into Week 4.

Kansas City will face more defensive resistance than they did against Chicago, but they should still be far too good for New York.
