The Terrapins opened the season with a 31-10 win at home to Buffalo, and followed that up with a 56-21 victory Charlotte.

They then made it three-in-a-row last weekend, beating SMY 34-27 thanks to a fourth-quarter fightback.

Maryland trailed 27-20 heading into the final period, but put up 14 unanswered points for the win.

Taulia Tagovailoa was an efficient 17/23 for 214 yards and two touchdowns, with the star performer RB Roman Hemby.

Hemby rushed for 151 yards and a TD on 16 carries, while also catching four passes for 62 yards.

Through three games, QB Tagovailoa has gone 68/88 for 895 yards, six touchdowns and two picks, as well as rushing for 54 yards and a TD.

Rakim Jarrett has 196 receiving yards and a touchdown, while three other receivers have passed the 100-yard mark as Tagovailoa spreads the ball around.

Out of the backfield, running back Hemby has been the offenses’ biggest weapon, racking up 385 yards from scrimmage and three TDs.

Michigan have made a perfect start to the season, winning each of their first three games in convincing fashion.

The Wolverines opened with a 51-7 rout of Colorado State before blowing out Hawaii, 56-10.

They then made it three consecutive wins with a 59-0 shutout of Connecticut last weekend.

JJ McCarthy finished the game 15/18 for 214 yards as no less than seven players threw a pass.

Ronnie Bell led the team in receiving with 96 yards, but it was Blake Corum who was at the heart of the win.

Corum carried the ball 12 times for 71 yards and five touchdowns as Michigan stormed to victory.

The Wolverines’ win took them to 2-0 since McCarthy was handed the reins and he is now 30/34 for 473 yards and three TDs.

He has also rushed for 73 yards and a TD, but it is Corum who leads the team in rushing with 235 yards and seven touchdowns off 34 carries.

In the receiving game, the pair of Bell and Roman Wilson have combined for 352 yards and three TDs.

Over on defense, the Wolverines have shut down their first three opponents, holding them to only 5.7 points and 194.0 yards per game.
