The Vikings went 13-4 last season, winning a string of one-score games as they took the NFC North and made the postseason.

They fell at the first hurdle in the playoffs, losing to the New York Giants, and the overwhelming belief coming into this season is that there would be a drop-off in 2023.

Minnesota’s pre-season doubters saw that belief get backed up last weekend, as they lost their season-opener at home.

The Vikings suffered a surprise 20-17 home defeat at the hands to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Philadelphia go into their home opener seeking improvement, despite running out winners in Week 1.

The Eagles came into the season with lofty expectations after making it all the way to the Super Bowl last season.

They came up short against the Kansas City Chiefs, but having added to an already loaded roster in the offseason, they were considered a front-runner going into opening weekend.

Philadelphia did get off to a winning start, although it was an underwhelming performance from them.

The Eagles needed three-second half field goals from 48 yards or longer to fend off the New England Patriots in a 25-20 win.
