New Orleans head out on the road for the first time looking to build on a season-opening win.

The Saints went 7-10 in 2022 and responded by making a big change at quarterback, bringing in Derek Carr.

Carr threw for 305 yards, one touchdown and one pick in his debut, but it was the defense that delivered the win.

New Orleans’ defense held Tennessee to five field goals as they fended off a fourth-quarter fightback to win 16-15.

They also picked off Ryan Tannehill three times, sacked him three times and hit him eight times as they made it a long day for the Titans QB.

Carolina Panthers Form

Carolina go into their home opener looking to bounce back from the season-opening defeat in Atlanta.

The Panthers, who went 7-10 in 2022, made a big move in the offseason as they traded up to get the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft.

They used that pick to draft Bryce Young first overall and made him a rookie starter last weekend.

It was a rough day for the young quarterback, who went 20/38 for only 146 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Carolina’s defense could not come to his rescue either, giving up 17 unanswered points in the second half as the Panthers lost 24-10 to the Falcons.
