Philadelphia enter this game on the back of a blowout home loss that dropped them to 10-2 – one game ahead of Dallas in the NFC East.

The Eagles opened up with a five-game win streak that was ended by a shock 20-14 defeat at the New York Jets.

They rebounded in style though, beating Miami 31-17 before downing division rivals Washington, 38-13, and Dallas, 28-23.

Philadelphia then got a measure of revenge for last season’s Super Bowl defeat by winning 21-17 at Kansas City, and made it five-in-a-row with a 37-34 overtime win against Buffalo.

However, the Eagles were unable to make it six straight wins as they were blown out at home by San Francisco, 42-19.

Dallas come into this matchup on a four-game win streak that has put them hot on the heels of Philadelphia in the East at 9-3.

The Cowboys lost ground on the Eagles as they lost two of their first five games, but they kick-started their season with a couple of wins over the Los Angeles teams.

They then rebounded from a 28-23 defeat in Philadelphia with a four-game win streak to set up this massive return meeting with the Eagles.

Dallas blew out the New York Giants at home, 49-17, before heading out on the road to comfortably beat Carolina, 33-10.

The Cowboys returned home for their next two games, and the offense ran riot as they beat Washington 45-10 and Seattle 41-35.
