Super Bowl LVI Half-time Show Odds – The Next Episode Odds-On To Be First Song

The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are going head-to-head for the NFL’s biggest prize, but millions of eyes will be on the traditional half-time mini-concert.

The biggest stars in music have graced the stage at half-time of the Super Bowl in recent years.

This year it is the turn of rap and R&B icons Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Mary J. Blige.

The 20-minute performance will feature some of their biggest hits and Paddy Power is offering odds on which track will be performed first.

‘The Next Episode’, by Dr Dre, is the 4/6 favourite to kick off the set in California.

However, one look at the opening lyrics suggest it could be a risky choice and the NFL have played it very safe with their half-time show since Janet Jackson’s breast was exposed to the watching world.

That makes Eminem smash hit ‘Lose Yourself’ a very appealing pick in this market at 10/1.

This track has become a sporting anthem over the years and is tailor made for one of the biggest events on the calendar.

For the large part the track can be performed with very little editing – that will suit NFL officials down to the ground.

So if you are going to bet on the Super Bowl half-time show, we suggest backing ‘Lose Yourself’ to be the first track performed.
