Birmingham enter the UFL Championship Game seeking their third spring football title in the past three years.

The Stallions, who won back-to-back USFL titles in 2022 and 2023, compiled a league-best 9-1 record during the regular season.

They kicked things off with a 27-14 win at 2023 XFL champions Arlington, and followed it up with a 20-13 victory in Michigan, before downing Memphis 33-14 in their home opener.

The wins kept coming for Birmingham as they beat DC 20-18 at home, before heading back out on the road to record a 32-9 victory in Houston and a 39-21 win at Memphis.

The Stallions then took their streak to eight games with home wins against St Louis, 30-26, and Houston, 35-28, before finally seeing their perfect run end with an 18-9 defeat in San Antonio.

They bounced back to win their regular season finale with Michigan, 20-19, and then came from behind to beat the Panthers 31-18 in last weekend’s USFL Conference Championship.

San Antonio are heading back to St Louis for the third straight weekend as the look to win the first spring football title in team history.

The Brahmas overhauled the coaching staff and roster after a 3-7 season in the XFL in 2023, and the moves paid off as they went 7-3 in the XFL Conference this season.

They made a solid start to life in the UFL as they won four of their first six games, starting with a 27-12 victory over DC and a 20-19 win in Memphis.

San Antonio then bounced back from a 31-24 loss to St Louis with a 19-9 win over Michigan and a 25-15 victory in Arlington, only to then suffer an 18-12 defeat in DC.

The Brahmas rebounded from that loss with a three-game win streak that saw them down Houston 15-12 on the road, before returning home to beat Arlington 20-15 and Birmingham 18-9.

They failed to make it four-in-a-row, losing 13-12 in St Louis in Week 10, but they avenged that loss a week later as they downed the Battlehawks, 25-15, in the XFL Conference Championship.
