Houston head to San Antonio looking to bounce back from another defeat that has left them 1-3.

The Roughnecks struggled badly in 2024 and made a rough start to 2025 as they lost their first two games of the season.

They opened with a 31-6 blowout when they hosted St Louis in the league’s opening game.

Houston then lost 11-9 in Arlington, but rallied in Week 3 as they battled to an 18-17 victory in Memphis.

The Roughnecks failed to make it back-to-back wins however, as they were beaten 23-16 by Birmingham last weekend.

San Antonio Brahmas Form

San Antonio go into their home opener on the back of their first win of the 2025 campaign.

The Brahmas made it to the UFL Championship a year ago, but made a slow start to the 2025 season as they lost three straight road games.

They were blown out in Arlington in their season-opener, losing 33-9, and they then fell to a 26-9 defeat in St Louis.

San Antonio’s offense showed some life in Week 3, but that was no enough to prevent them from losing 26-23 at Michigan.

The Brahmas did finally get off the mark last weekend though, as they surprised the DC Defenders, 24-18.
